Poem #1 - God's Faces

Here's a poem I wrote quite a while ago (about two years now).

God's Faces
by Steven Dirckze

The world is at war

Over who looks the best

Blacks, whites and more

Never at rest

People are rejected

Because of their skin

It’s never detected

That what’s real’s within

The act of one person

Becomes the act of a kin

So they take up a gun

To a fight no-one can win

As the bombings flash ember

And the world’s in disgrace

No-one remembers

We all have Gods face

What's big and purple and lives in the ocean?

Moby Grape, of course!

That was yet another famous example of a joke that has been circulating since the 50's and 60's (as evidenced by the band Moby Grape). Kinda sad that it's still around, really.

So this is basically a blog with random what-nots and whatevers..

Poems, thoughts, ideas, possibly some of my photography and doodles...

Whatever springs to my mind I suppose.
